Deciding what food will be served is next. Typically there is not a meal served at a shower, but simply finger-foods and/or dessert foods such as cake or pie. Formal teas or barbecues are not out-of-the-question either, in fact, they are fairly common. The more complicated and expensive option of a sit-down meal can be very nice if you've got the time and money.
